Help Drexel Newman compete against other campus organizations to win prize money to help the ministry

HOW TO PLAY/SUPPORT

Each hour there is a particular challenge involving one of 5 categories:

Drexel Alumni Parents of Drexel Students Drexel Students Drexel Staff Anyone

How do we win the challenge

  • When the category is called each student organization can begin receiving donations within that specific category. Whichever organization receives THE LARGEST NUMBER OF DONATIONS (the amount of money donated does not effect the challenges) of $5 or more by people of the particular hourly category wins that hourly challenge.

  • For example, there might be a $2500 challenge from 10:30AM-11:30AM for the most Parent donations. In that time whichever student organization receives the most donations from parents of Drexel students wins the $2500 for that organization.

Where does my donation go?

  • 100% of the donations given during the 24 Hours of Impact are given directly to the organization or ministry the donor selects to support. So don’t worry, if you donate just $5 or if you donate $5,000, Drexel Newman will receive all of that donation.

How many times can I donate to help win the challenges?

  • You can donate up to 3 times for each challenge. It is common to donate $5, three times to make the greatest impact in winning the challenge.

  • You may also participate in as many challenges as you would like, donating 3 times for each challenge you are eligible to participate in.

DO I need to donate during the challenge times to support Drexel Newman during the 24 hours of impact?

  • No, you can donate at anytime during the day. Supporting during the challenge times simply helps us doubly—with your donation, and with the hope of wining the prize money as well.

How will I know when my category is called?

  • You can either keep yourself updated on Drexel.edu/24, or we will do our best to let you know through our social media.

WHERE DO I DONATE?

  • You will need to select your category and select the Drexel Newman Ministry.

  • On the day-of we will send out a direct link so you won’t need to search for the Drexel Newman Ministry in the drop down menu.

Finally, we ask everyone to be honest and play fare during this fun day. Last year, for the first time, we won first place with the most donations of any student organization during the entire competition. Let’s show Drexel the strength and impact the Catholic Community has in the Drexel Community.
