Dear fellow students, alumni, parents, guardians, and friends,

I applaud and thank you for taking the time to consider donating to the Drexel Newman Catholic Community which serves the students at Drexel University today and since its original founding in 1921. The amount of work that the members of this community do to bring people closer to Christ in University City is quite astonishing and beautiful. I have only begun to experience the love that Christ has for me and others through His people, teachings, and universal Church.

The number of students that have had their lives changed by being a part of this community is so beautiful to me. Although challenging to discover God at times, I think with the support of the people in the Drexel Newman Catholic Community and the friendships I now have, I have no fear that my life will be anything less than an exciting, faith-filled journey.

Drexel Newman focuses on what we like to call “The Big 5”: Sunday Masses, Small Groups, Newman Nights, Retreats, and Service. Along with our motto of “Heart Speaks to Heart”, these are the foundations of what help our group of 140+ students grow spiritually, communally, and personally. We strive to create a true Christian brotherhood and sisterhood among each other and in our Lord.

With the major redevelopment occurring at the Newman Center on 38th Street and with the 100th year anniversary of our founding quickly approaching, I am very excited to see what the future holds and what God has in store for the Drexel Newman Catholic Community going into the new roaring twenties!

Your donation will make a huge impact on students currently involved with Drexel Newman and those that will be in the future!

St. Katherine Drexel and Blessed John Henry Newman, pray for us!

With all the blessings of our Almighty God,

Vincenzo DiGiuseppe Dragone
