Blessed John Newman

Radically living life in service This group will explore the lives of Dorothy Day and St. Katharine Drexel, and use the example of these two holy American women as a starting point for discussions about bringing the idea of serving our brothers and sisters into our everyday pursuits. We will discuss prayer life, learning from crosses, burnout, and other topics over the course of the term. This group meets Wednesdays at 7 pm.  Email Erin Truesdell for more information at: erin.j.truesdell@drexel.edu

The importance of community The idea behind this small group is that community is central to living as a Catholic in the Church.  Through discussion, we will discover the very root of the Church community, the reason communities exist in our world, the reality behind why the Church is the most important community, and our role as holy people within it. This group meets Thursdays at 8 pm.
