Surrender to what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be. (2).png

 NOVUS

Sept 12-14th

What Is NOVUS?

NOVUS means "new beginnings" in Latin…and we are pumped to work with Drexel University this year to offer NOVUS, a freshmen retreat! Incoming students are encouraged to sign up for this Catholic retreat to kick off this new season in their life. It’s also a hassle-free way to move into your dorm early. We will take care of organizing your move in date with the University, and you won’t have to deal with the chaos of moving in at the same time as everyone else.

Many of our current student leaders will be in attendance, as well as our FOCUS missionaries and campus ministers, providing you with the opportunity to find you squad before the school year even begins, explore campus and the city, and embark on a journey together to seek the heights of your Catholic Faith.

It all begins right here.

What You Need To Know

Small Groups. Prayer. Bonfire. Mass. Games. And more!

The program will include discussions with upperclassmen and staff on how to live your faith during college, time for personal reflection and prayer, exploration of the city, and plenty of time to have fun and share your experiences with other incoming freshmen. It’s all held on campus and at our newly renovated Newman Center at 38th + Chestnut and the registration fee is just $25. You can either make your payment online here, via venmo @drexelnewman (please include ‘Novus retreat’ in payment description), or send us a check made payable to Drexel Newman and sent to 111 S 38th St, Philadelphia PA 19104. You will also have to register for Early Move In here. Questions? Contact Michael Gokie at mjg395@drexel.edu or (215) 901-3420.
